Expand the titles to view further details of each project. Videos in my portfolio average a click-through rate of 7%+ and an average view duration of over 60% for videos longer than 10 minutes. The most successful channels built unique, premium, compelling brands and bingeable formats where viewers would watch more than 2–3 videos per session. Furthermore, the most actionable and diehard fans were created by spending a total of 7+ hours with each channel.

  • Brand Overview: Foxy Mangaka is my personal YouTube channel and passion projects. It features the character “Foxy,” a quippy, Kitsune-masked manga writer on a mission to create one of the greatest English-originated manga and help others do the same.

  • Brand Overview: Layers Deep is a cozy 2D metroidvania game about an Onion trying to escape to the surface world.

    Project(s) Overview: Josh is a friend and a fellow content creator who was struggling to gain interest in the development of his newest venture: indie game development.

    Despite his best efforts, he was unable to get people to care about his latest passion, and he was met with skepticism from even his most devoted fans.

    Knowing Josh, I knew his potential and stepped in to help him repackage and rearticulate his efforts to make his vision clearer to newcomers and fans alike.

    This meant leading his titles, packaging, and helping him re-edit his videos until they were as impactful as possible.

    For this, we didn’t focus primarily on views or going viral but on convincing those who did watch that this would be the next big thing.

    After publishing several dev vlogs and telling his story, he was able to earn media coverage, develop partnerships, and amass fans that would ultimately get his game funded on Kickstarter.

    Now he is polishing up his game and expecting to do another marketing push for its release.

  • Brand Overview: H3H3Productions consists of two unapologetic goofs reacting to the most surreal things they can find on the web

    Project(s) Overview: In 2016, I was a huge H3H3Productions fan. I would create my own H3H3-inspired edits and videos and regularly contribute to their subreddit.

    So when Ethan was looking for an editor to replicate his style to increase video output, he reached out to see if I would be up for the task.

    I went on to edit these videos, with him coming in later to refine them to taste. This heavily reduced his post-production burden and led to many standout viral hits.

    I even helped engineer his first live H3H3 Podcast setup with Twitch.

  • Brand Overview: Psychedelic music videos and unhinged comedic adventures from NetNobody and friends.

    Project(s) Overview: In 2017, I was invited to hang out and be in the background of a music video for an influencer formerly known as SkyDoesMinecraft. Upon arrival, some of the production crew were struggling to capture the shots and edit the music video in time to meet their intense 36-hour deadline.

    I decided to grab my laptop and help them make their deadline. Upon completion, I was asked to continue to lead edit, produce, and manage the YouTube channel going forward.

    We went on to make many high-performing music videos with over 11 million views and mini-docs the fans loved.

    Unfortunately, due to some controversies, the channel disbanded, and videos were removed.

  • Brand Overview: Voyceme is North America’s fastest-growing manga and manhwa platform.

    Project(s) Overview: Paid advertising was not cultivating community or driving the results that VoyceMe wanted. They were looking for a fresh and bold social media strategy to boost retention, loyalty, and network effects.

    Marketing new I.P., especially comics or written works, is very difficult on social media platforms and requires a lot of consumer education. I proposed creating a VoyceMe cinematic universe where audiences could follow exciting shows celebrating and featuring their biggest originals and licensed works.

    This involved short-form skits, reviews, and long-form experimental initiatives.

    In the comments of many of these videos, audiences called them “the greatest ads they have ever watched.”
